Grand Duchess Vladimar Necklace Poster Print (Landscape)
This necklace is inspired by a necklace Richard Burton bought for his wife, Elizabeth Taylor, in the 1960s while they were in Rome. The original was designed by Bulgari. The pendant was Burton's engagement present to Liz. Each pear shaped diamond around the large emerald in the pendant is at least 10 carats. As time passed, Liz wore this necklace frequently. She discovered or created a story that the large emeralds belonged to the last Grand Duchess of Russia and were smuggled out of Russia during the Russian Revolution in 1917. Does this story have to be true? The possibilities are always more interesting.
