Third Eye Vision Womens Hoodie
There are so many faces of so many different creatures all layered together in this one. How many can you find? The Cyclops with the yellow eye stands out most to me - or is that just the third eye for a green and orange panda like creature? Seeing imagery like this is called pareidolia - a stimulus (an image or a sound) allows the brain to perceive familiar patterns in a vague or obscure stimulus. We do it all the time, common examples include seeing images in clouds, the man in the moon, the moon rabbit, or even hearing hidden messages on phonograph records when they are played in reverse. Pareidolia is the visual form of apophenia, which is the perception of patterns within random data. Combined together with a manifestation of the sacred (hierophany), pareidolia may have helped ancient societies organize chaos, thereby making the world intelligible.
